About Me

Dr. Ahmed is a Fellowship trained, Board Certified Retina Specialist

Education

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Ahmed did retina research fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School in Boston.

He then went on to complete his Ophthalmology residency training at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ahmed expanded his training to include vitreoretinal medicine and surgery during his Clinical Fellowship at Boston University.

Qualifications

Dr. Ahmed is a fellowship trained, board certified retina specialist member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists.

He has done research, published and presented papers on topics related to the retina including diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
